Each toy is lovingly handmade for fair wages by underprivileged women and people with disabilities in Nepal. The toys are hand-felted with warm water & vegetable soap and then sun dried. The dyes are azo-free and non-toxic.
Friendsheep products are cruelty-free certified by Leaping Bunny, as the wool comes from sheep that are humanely treated and sheared. The organic wool is sourced from a small consortium of family-owned farms in New Zealand.
We love that the company donates roughly 20% of their proceeds to nonprofits that help animals, children, and the planet. Also, they partner with the Eden Reforestation Project to plant one tree for every item sold!
